“1921 Pageant The Net of Progress” Silk screened red and blue cover pictures a young lady in a blue swimsuit relaxing on the sand, in the background a picture of the Pier, a U.S. flag on a pole and boats on the lake. Pageant held along the Municipal Pier (Navy Pier) in Chicago, Il. Envelope made of glassine, a strong, thin, glazed, semitransparent paper introduced between 1915 and 1920. DATED: 1921.

Hair historian Jeff Hafler’s Beauty Bubble Salon and Museum in Twentynine Palms, California has a 1940s Duart Perm Machine once owned by one of Veronica Lake’s hairdresser, Earle Adams, who donated it.
