â€ś1921 Pageant The Net of Progressâ€ť Silk screened red and blue cover pictures a young lady in a blue swimsuit relaxing on the sand, in the background a picture of the Pier, a U.S. flag on a pole and boats on the lake. Pageant held along the Municipal Pier (Navy Pier) in Chicago, Il. Envelope made of glassine, a strong, thin, glazed, semitransparent paper introduced between 1915 and 1920. DATED: 1921.
