Logo Stamped on the bottom of the sole of each shoe is company logo and, Boot and Shoe Workers Union, Union Stamp, Factory No. 4. in Columbia, Missouri. Hamilton Brown began manufacturing shoes in 1907. DATE: After 1907 through the Edwardian Period.

Sole and bottom of 1-3/4” heel painted green, sides of circles yellow, green and red. Inner sole says: Di Scarla, Fashions from Italy, Custom Made; also says: Man Made Materials. Leather and rubber were scarce, having been requisitioned by the Army for WWII. DATE: 1940s.
